My Son has a 93 Honda Accord G-ma Bought it brand new!
it has only 140,000 miles on it and she had the tranny rebuilt
only to find out later it was a cv joint bearing! so my point is this
engine and tranny has not been abused and very well taken care of!!
My son was rear ended by a kid with no insurance and his ins. co. it totaling out his car! we are going to keep the car and are hope is to find anther good Accord that has a bad engine so we can do an engine and tranny swap!!
The wreaking yard says for a 93 accord swap is only good for the 91, 92, 93 year models
we have a 1993 Honda accord lx 2.2l 4cyl with an automatic tranny
Question is is there a new year like 94, 95, to 19?? that this engine and tranny will swap into without customizing??

The 94 was the first year of a new generation Accord (5th gen).

So for your 93 engine/trans - the "straight" swap options are 90-93 (4th gen).
