95 Accord swap to a l61
I have a 95 Honda Accord with a 2.2l 4 cyl non vtec f22b2 engine and I was wondering if any engine parts or a swap would fit from a 2004 chevy classic with a 2.2l 4 cyl ecotec l61.
I would say it is a pretty good bet there isn't a single part which would swap between those engines. A swap of the entire engine and transmission, while technically possible, would be hugely cost prohibitive.

I mean they look pretty much identical. I might would have to make some modifications but i wouldnt mind.
- If I am not mistaken, the engines rotate in opposite directions
- The engine in the Honda is most likely on the left side of the car with the transmission on the right; the Chevy is reversed, so you'll need to swap the transmission as well.
- There would be exactly zero off-the-shelf parts to mount the engine and plug in the various wiring harnesses and sensors.
- The ECUs will be dramatically different
- The fuel pressure requirements are most likely very different
- The plumbing of the intake and exhaust systems will need to be fully custom
- Clearance issues for brake boosters, steering rack, suspension components may be an issue
- You'll need to have custom CV axles fabricated.
Long story short, this is a very bad idea. Sorry, I know this isn't what you want to hear.
I'm not sure what looks have to do with it, from that perspective, pretty much all DOHC I4 engines look pretty similar. Among the many issues I can see with such a swap are:

Sorry @Hayhay, it is definitely NOT possible to swap in the Chevy engine and keep your transmission. Why? Because as previously mentioned, the engine spins in the wrong direction. If you do somehow manage to mate the Chevy engine to your Honda transmission, then you will end up with a vehicle with 1-forward gear and 5-reverses gears. You really need to give this idea up, it is a non-starter.
If that message was in any kind of way rude, I am sorry, i wasnt trying to but it does sound that way when i reread it.
