Really kind of depends on how far you want to go?

Are you going with a turbo, H swap.....or simple minor things I/H/E.

I'd be interested to hear about the minor options (I/H/E).

I know I want to put on a new intake, and maybe some headers and an exhaust, but I don't want the loud, unnecessary ricey sound. Just smooth power!

What do you mean by "smooth power"? Isn't the power delivery of your car smooth already?

If you want a pretty good sounding exhaust, i would look into magnaflow exhaust. i have a magnaflow cat-back on my 97 accord and i think it sounds great it has a nice deep tone and i have gotten alot of compliments on it.
