Default '96 chips worth the money?

1996 accord ex 2.2L 2 door
part:
94-97 VENOM 400 CONTROL MODULE

my question is, is this part worth $400. it claims 25% power gain which if true would be amazing. but does it work?

Its a piggyback. Basically, junk. All it does is alter the voltage your ECU "sees" from the Throttle Position Sensor making it think it's open more, dumping in more gas. Basically what the JDM/Mugen/HKS eBay chips do. It's all a bunch of BS and definitely not worth 4 bills. It's far cheaper to just actually chip the car, but then again you don't have any mods that really warrant altered timing and fuel maps i.e. forced induction.
