No, you dont have a choice when buy a H22, you get the 10:1 compression pistons that come in it. And your looking at thousands of dollars to build the motor for boost, not to mention the cost of a turbo setup.

Thats what i meant, how much for regular because im looking into spending another couple into rebuilding it. and how much mpg would that trans take off? and do i necessarily need a 5 speed if geeting over 600 hp? cause then id have to do the work of converting... ill prolly just get their tranny anyways being mine has so many miles

Well since yours is an automatic, and the H22 transmission is geared better, I would imagine that it would takea second off your time.

I dont think your realize how much 600hp is. A stock 5spd tranny wouldnt handle that much, or at least not for long. I do know of a complete dogbox H22 tranny in the works, but its about $5000.

And I hope you realize any car that gets "600hp" is goign to get about 8mpg.

yeah ill keep saving. ha and just start with the engine. i thought mine was gettin at least mid 20's but when i calculated it it was only like 11 or 12... so a decrase yeah, but my *** will love the power
