Default 97 F22B2 engine swap?

I currently have about $800 to spend on an engine for a swap. I'm wondering what engines I can get that will work with my 97 Accord LX I4 Auto Trans. I've looked into 3.2L Acura engines and I believe they fit. I know all H22A engines go for at least 1g so I'm not even looking towards that... Any suggestions as to what engine I should look into? Will the Acura 3.2L engine fit as promised? I want an engine that will give me a boost in HP. I believe the output of the F22B2 stock is around 130 HP. I think the 3.2L is around 200 HP or so. Let me know if any of this is correct or if any corrections need to be made. I want a V6 engine. How much work would it be to convert my stock 4 cylinder into that.... besides maybe chaning the transmission?

I have never heard of anyone replacing a 4cyl with a v6. The 94-97 v6 accords had a bigger engine bay with engine mounts in different locations.

seems like a huge pain. it would be easier to just slap on some nitrous. but thats just what i would do. if you have the skills to do the modifications needed, then go for it

Alright appreciate it... its kinda what I thought.. but I know someone that had a 98 civic that replaced it with a 3.2L TL Engine which is a V6. so I think it can be done.. but what would you recommend? Just leaving it be?

Tiger Japanese is like $300 to get it shipped to me haha... but yeah are they dependable? I read on a lot of sites that they scam a lot or send faulty items.

I have heard good and bad reviews, with any importer you are taking a risk. The 30k mile line they all give you is a load of BS.

Same thing I heard... How often do they come across for $500? Cuz I saw one for $690 but its for a 92-96??? Idk really. that's strange because the Accord gens included 96 so idk. but I'm interested in it even tho it is a H23A it has VTEC so pushed 200hp just as the H22A does.

500 can usually only be found on craigslist and other private sellers, which is always a risk as well. Something to keep in mind is 92-96 h22a motors are OBD1, which if you have emissions inspections and stuff in texas you will never pass.

H23A JDM motors are essentially a H23 block with a F20B head. Pretty much a H22 with more torque, in my opinion better than a H22, just doesnt rev as high.
