500 can usually only be found on craigslist and other private sellers, which is always a risk as well. Something to keep in mind is 92-96 h22a motors are OBD1, which if you have emissions inspections and stuff in texas you will never pass.
H23A JDM motors are essentially a H23 block with a F20B head. Pretty much a H22 with more torque, in my opinion better than a H22, just doesnt rev as high.

Ah that's good to hear. We don't do emission inspections I don't think, but I already have a straight pipe so I'm screwed there nonetheless ha... I think I will just go with the cheaper one.
