Honda Accord 4 cyl Auto

When I drive my car at around 50 km the engine cuts out, and I'll have to restart it.
the problem is consistant.
Another prob is that when I drive at 50 km all the electrical cuts out for 2 secs. its flicks on and off. you can see the RPM drop to zero.

does any one know wtf is wrong with my car [:@]

 

has the ignition switch recall been done ??? call your local Honda dealer and ask about it ..

 

Yea I got the ignition interlock done. The problem still presists. All The lighting in the car, and outside the car flicks on and off 2-3 times.

The interlock recall reduced the problem, but not by alot.

Is there a problem with my internal electical componets? such as main relay or anything like that?

can someone help me? casue its dangerous when the engine cuts out when I'm on the highway. My steering wheel locks, but good thing my brakes works..

check your grounds and make sure that your battery cables are good

 

Did you get the ignition switch recall done? The interlock system doesn't cause stalling problems.

 

Yea i got it done.
I know it doesn't solve the stalling problems. That is why I'm so desprate to find out wtf is wrong.

The recall that i've done is only the ignition interlock. It has something to do with "p" Park. I dont' think it has anything to do with this

How many ignition switch recalls are out there for that car? I've got a '98 & they did a recall that was related to the ingition lock cylinder. According to my VIN, that's the only one that applied for my car (according to the dealer). It was only related to the system that prevents you from pulling the key out while the engine is running. Depending on TRIGGA's VIN, is it possible he's not entitled to the recall you're talking about??
