98 vtec coupe issues

Default 98 vtec coupe issues

My 98 accord has not been running for a few months, its has been idiling funny around 2000rpm on its own just like if I had the cc on. Also the last time I was driving it sounded like a belt was going I got that funny bunning smell and the next thing I know steam/smoke form under the hood. The hose from the radiator to the engin was collapsed on its self. Could this be a bad therm??? HELP..

When the hose collapses, the first thing I'd check is a bad radiator cap. The cap is SUPPOSED to suck fluid back in from the overflow reservoir, so it seems like that process is obstructed.
