If you're reading the code right I believe that's a faulty abs regulator.... when you first turn the key on can you hear the system try to pressurize? is your fluid full? Are you leaking any fluid?

sir_nasty, thanks for the reply. I don't here the sytsem try to pressurize, both brake reservoirs are full and there are no leaks. The ABS system started to engage erratically when it began raining. The next day the ABS light was on and the system no longer functioned. After shorting the test plug under the glove box with a paper clip and getting the 1-2 fault code, I also tested the bus fuses in the ABS fuse box under the hood with a test light. All the fuses tested good with the exception of the 7.5 amp fuselabled "ABS unit".I know the fuse itself is good but it seemsit is not getting power to it. With the info provided, where do I go from here? Thanks.

According to my list 1-2 is for a bad ABS pump motor. If you can rule outbroken wiring in the harness leading to the ABS modulator, I guess you replace the pump. Or get awhole ABS modulator assembly at a junkyard.

Thanks JimBlake. I'll be more than glad to check the wiring harness leading to the ABS modulator if I only knew where the ABS modulator and/or the pump motor is located. Can you guide me? Thanks.

Everyone, thanks for allthe info. I rechecked the 7.5 amp "ABS unit" fuse in the ABS fuse box under the hood andfound it blown. Replaced fuse and the ABS light cleared. I'll drive it and seewhat happens. I'll post again with results.
