ok. I know many questions have been asked about this. but...im new to this forum. I bought a 95 accord with 168k on it. perfect maint. records. but my question is, how can i get more power out of it since its a auto. ? I know many said i started with the wrong car to beef up. well... there arn't many accords for sale in my area, so i grabbed this one. what can i do to at least do a burn out? i tried power braking, but RPM's won't surpass 2500 with brake applied (i have ABS). so, anything else?

 

power braking is the FASTEST WAY to kill the auto transmission.


Want power? swap in a H22a or do what I did and buy a CL type S

 

ok. lesson learned. no more power braking (i only did it twice anyway). H22 swap, thats a little skeptical for me considering im trying to save up for an intake (SRI). an engine is just a dream right now. plus, ill have to have installed by someone else because i have no idea how to do an engine swap. soo, is there any other way to get more power?

the basics would be intake headers exhaust, put some new spark plugs in, spark plug wires, if you really want to get alot more power swap out cam shafts and crank shaft, but thats a pretty big ordeal, and it will ruin your gas mileage.
