i think i need a new alternator in my 92 accord. how many amps does a stock one put out?? and on ebay i see ones that say they put out 165 amps. is it really still safe to get one that puts out that high of amps? or should i just go with a lower amp one? i am runnin a powerful stero system also and i allready got an optima battery

 

stock is 90 or so amps i'd be leery of any e-bay stuff without high output and cheap price
