my brother has replaced a third alternator on a 2000 Accord with 3 liter V6, they last about a month then go south, everything like voltage readings and connections including a good ground check out, he is stumped. Anyone seen this or have a suggestion?

 

Is he using Honda OEM alternators? If so, those are known to be junk. You are better off getting an aftermarket alternator. Still...... this should not be happening. Are there not any warranties on the alternators he is buying?
