For anyone that has a 94-97 accord.

Just a quick poll, what is the base idle RPM of your car and how far does the RPM drop when you kick on the accessories (especially AC)?

I have a 1994 Accord EX and idle barely dips when AC comes on.

i have a 94 cold idle is 1200 rpm hot idle is about 450...i dont have ac..

 

Just to be picky about terminology...

Base idle is the idle RPM when the IACV is unplugged and there's no loads. Should be about 550 RPM.

Operating idle is what most people think of - what RPM does it idle when the IACV is plugged in and working. Should be about 750 RPM.
