Automatic shift kit?

Default Automatic shift kit?

i have a 97 honda accord f22b2 and was wondering does anyone know what a shift kit is a will it really help my performance......one of my friends was suggesting i get one installed

There is no shift kit for any Honda that I know of.
Shift kits are mostly for transmissions in older model cars & trucks with V8 engines. They are used for firmer shifts and holding a gear till a certain RPM. I'm pretty sure most involve taking the transmission pan off and installing something onto, or modifying, the valve body.

Changing when the tranny shifts would require a high stall torque converter and/or modifying the transmission control unit.

As far as modifying the physical shifter, RAZO may make a auto-to-manual conversion to make it look like a stick.

No short shifters, you can't short shift an auto.
