Default Battery Problems!!!

1. Battery goes dead
2. I take the battery to Auto Zone for a recharge
3. I try and connect the battery back on the car
4. An alarm (beeping and lights flashing) goes off wen i plug in the postive side of the battery
5. What do i do now?

I had no idea i had an alarm in the car. There is a security thing with a light in the car, but didnt know what it was for. So now i cant plug the battery back on cuz the alarm (or w/e it is)goes off and i have no idea of what to do.

you connect the battery back in does the lighting inside the vehicle work? If not, it may be the alt.

Idk. I plug the battery in and everything goes crazy. I cannot stand the honking in my ear for more than 2 secs. I have not done anything or tried anything, the honking is deafning.

All i saw were the headlights blink, and heard the honking in my ear! Loud. My head is still groggy and in serious pain, its not normal.

get some earplugs to help troubleshoot...

you need to investigate whether its factory or aftermarket...and how to disable it...

Hopefully tomorrow i can get everything settled. Maybe a few tips from here. A few phone calls there. I just have no clue where to start.

Someone told me to plug the battery, start the car and shut it off, and that should make the alarm shut up. Mom says put the key on ACT and plug the battery, i think thts dangerous. Anyone have ANY ideas?

If you can't stand the noise pull the fuse for the horn before you hook the battery up.
