Default RE: Battery Problems!!!

Plugging the battery and starting the car wont help. The ignition is locked, i think. And i cant find anything tht looks like a switch for an alarm.

I bought the car used. The people who sold me the car had no clue the car had an alarm either. They are trying to find a tech to help me out.

I got ear plugs so the honking isnt a problem anymore.
Im pretty sure it didnt, but did the '97 SE come with an alarm?

My car started. Went to Auto Zone to get the alternator tested and its fine. And so is the battery. The guy told me tht the problem was the battery connector or terminal, idk the name. So i bought them and replaced them. The car seems to be working fine....

I just got home, came inside, and the alarm started going off! Atleast i knowhow to shut it off. So next im goin to go the Honda dealership and see if i can get a remote for the alarm. Hopefully its a good one, with the unlock and panic button cuz i bought an alarm with all tht

im pretty sure your car came with a factory security, in other words, not necessarily an alarm, but automatic locks.

Yeah it is factory security. And car came with no manual.

Im goin to get a remote for the factory alarm and it will work just like any other alarm...Unlock panic etc. Only for 72 bucks. Better than an alarm installation.
Is the programming for the remote difficult if you dont know what your doin?
