Default bleeder valve

I just replaced the radiator on my 1996 Accord LX and i had the hardest tiem locating the bleeder valve when i went to fill it back up. The bleeder valve is on the thermostat housing, BEHIND the motor right? Because on my mom's 1998 Oddysey, it's in front of the motor, so i was looking all over for it. I just want to make sure that it is on the thermostat housing behind the motor.

I thought that it was on the front or side of the motor but I could be wrong...... just trace the upper radiator hose back to the engine and the bleeder valve is right there, like you said on the thermostat housing.... It's been a while since I paid attention but it sounds like you've got the right one.

Most Hondas put the thermostat at the LOWER hose. And back there is where the bleeder shoud be. But some years didn't have one at all.

Some (B-series) engines have the bleeder located in the head alonside the uppwer radiator hose. Just depends where the air bubbles like to hang out when this happens.

followthe upper hose and where it goes into the block (highest point of the cooling system) there should be a small nipple that you open to let the air out

Bleed nipple is #12 here, that's in the thermostat housing. Might be easierif you remove the big intake duct. That's a4-cylinder engine since you didn't say...
