1994 accord lx, non vtec engine.

Last week the idle got rough, when coming to a stop it acts like it wants to stall out but it doesnt, just runs low and rough. I only had time to look at the plugs which had some oil on the threads (159k miles), the tips were white, so I am going to see if just a plug change clears that problem.

Now today my daughter calls to say that the fuel light started blinking. She put some gas in yesterday so it's not empty.

The CEL is not on so should I even bother having codes checked?
