hey guys, this happens intermittently, the D4 light on my 93 automatic accord will start blinking when I turn the car on. and when it blinks, I dont seem to have a second gear. sometimes when the car starts without the D4 light, it shifts and runs perfectly. does anyone have any ideas or how I can fix this!?!? thank you very very much. - Mike

 

welcome to the forum! It sounds like your VSS sensor is acting up/possibly going out, it's the Vehicle Speed Sensor on your transmission

 

hey sir_nasty, I shorted the blue wire on the passenger side, and I found out the D4 code, blinks 7 times and stops. what does 7 times mean on a 93 accord ex!?!?
