Default Block adjustment to add psi

I'm installing a turbo system very soon. but i've been told that my stock engine only reaches a maximum of 12psi. even if i do some internal changes my block still won't hold more than 12psi... Is that true? is there anything i can do, like get a stronger block? how can i do that?

new rods, new piston, new rings, and a good head gasket, theres other things you will want to do, but those 3 are the big ones that go out on the engine rings goout firstif they are old, the rods go out at high boost

That i dont really have an aswer for, if you replace the pistons rods and rings I would assume 15 to 20 but im sure thats theres little odds and ends that need to be changed as well. Ask chiovnidca he will be able to give you an idea based on his civic mods

In my opinion if you're going to do internal work like that I'd have the valves, springs and retainers done as well and possibly consider a different cam..... once the engine is torn apart machine work and parts gets pretty inexpensive... if you have a f22 then f22parts.com might be a good place to start (94-97 accord)
