a buddy at work is selling a 97 honda accord and he said theirs only one problem. cyl 3 has no compression. he said its slow up to twenty but once its above 20 then its fine. hes selling it for 1500 with new wheels and full stereo. should i just test drive it and see if i can deal or is it just something i need to stay away from?

I would say take it, you can always swap an H22 prelude motor for fairly cheap and then youll have ALOT of fun with that car, but until then just drive it until your up for it, if the rest of the car is real good condition and it comes with a nice stereo and everything, $1500 is a good deal, the wheels and stereo are probably worth more. Motors are cheap nowadays, so worse case you have to replace it sometime dont worry, get and h22 and youll be pleased lol. Even if you just want a fresh stock motor, you can find them for a couple hundred dollars
