i have a 97 accord LX automatic. sometimes when in drive, from a complete stop, giving the car gas the car bogs out and then picks up and bogs out again then picks up. then when going at a constant speed the car rpms bounce maybe 200 rpms back and fourth. it happens when cruising on the highway also but only when i let go of the gas then the rpms drop and rise again repeatedly. please help!

 

check fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail and fuel tank for sediments. also check O2 sensor and the air filter. oh, and the plugs while your at it...
