Which car is faster ?

7-9th gen cars have 6 speed options in the coupe and the 7th gen sedans as well in 2006-7. But finding one is really tough.

I found a pretty nice Gen 7 EXL V6 with a 6-Speed recently, it was selling for a $2,000 premium over an otherwise identical model with an Automatic transmission. I still have to laugh when sales reps tell me, "You don't really want an automatic, it will kill your resale value."
I usually respond with, "I'm not buying this car for the person who comes after me, I'm buying it for me!" And then I walk out and find a different dealership.

Ran into the same thing when I bought an '02 6 speed Maxima about 4 years ago. When I called about the ad, the person said "I have to tell you something about the car, its a manual transmission, is that okay?" And they were selling it for about $1000 under market value because of that!. If they'd put it for sale on maxima.org they could have got probably $2000 more than they were asking for it. The 6 speed Maximas are about a half second quicker and 5 mph faster in the quarter mile and are highly coveted by those who know.
Always amazes me how many people selling a car really don't know what they have.
