Default Cheap MODS

I have a 2000 Accord coupe (4 cyl.) and I'm looking for some cheap mods that will give me better performance and or horse power/milage etc.... I've been told that a short ram air system should be the first but have no idea what kind is best or which one to get. I'm looking for any ideas thats wont cost too much and something I can do on my own.

start with a bomz short air intake (SRI) off ebay, then buy a new airfilter for it when you get a chance (AEM or K&N) then headers, then exhaust, those are the most common starting places...

hmmmm...all i can say is what you pay for is what you get...if you going to buy cheap mod's then you'll get a cheap performance...sorry to sound harsh but if you want REAL horsepower its going to take money and time...but i guess you can try ebay and everything like that....uhhhh since its a 4 cyl you might as well get a new exhaust(which isnt cheap) also you can add a cold air intake or short ram intake don't really matter to be honest with you...if you're trying to push some real horses you going to need some real money...and i think i speak for every honda lover in these forums when i say...if you want real performance you going to have to be willing to open up that wallet man...besides the worst thing you can EVER DO is make a honda become a ricer....come on guy....don't be a ricer....put some money where your cylinder heads is...

i beg to disagree. Some parts, admittedly, you must use name brand/expensive. However stuff like an intake, that is literally a pipe bent in a few places, i see no difference between a name brand and ebay brand, except maybe a bypass valve in the case of a CAI.

No don't get me wrong i agree with you!but i'm just saying like if he's looking for some horsepower, you can't expect it out of being cheap you know...i mean you not gonna exactly find a flywheel and clutch and even turbo system for a cheap price and if you do most of the time it does not do much
