cheapy chips

RE: cheapy chips
I'd stay away from those. Not that they do or don't work, but Accords and chips don't mix well, mainly because reliable chip manufacturers don't make any for our cars. Piggybacks are fine and of course EMS(s). But raising the limiter on an engine limted to 6500 to 8200 will teach you and your pocket a valuable lesson. These chips may or may not work, but if you don't understand exactly how they raise the hp...don't buy it, reason is there are many ways to raise hp, but raising it safely is another matter. Especially since no one can tell you they've been using one and it's reliable. Stick to companies with real R&D. They may say Spoon chip, Jun chip, Mugen chip, but think about why would these high performance companies make a chip for a an unpopular USDM engine? They wouldn't.
