Clutch Fail

Ok so im going to get my clutch checked out. i recently kinda fried it getting out of a ditch but it was driving fine. Now as of last night i have not clutch pressure in the pedal and i had to muscle out each gear. What do you think is wrong?!?

You said you fried it, what do you think is wrong? Did it smell? More than likely you burned it up.

Sounds like you've lost clutch fluid in the hydraulics. Probably a seperate issue to your clutch "frying" episode.

RE: Clutch Fail

so best check the fluid level?

Check the fluid level. if low on fluid, add more and check for leaks. Pray you don't need a new clutch unless you want to spend a lot of money having it replaced.

Why the angry face? You should be blissfully happy; 'it's ONLY the fluid level... thank you God!!!'.

RE: Clutch Fail

yeah. so turns out the steering wheels was off alignment, the oil sensor was leaking, and the master cylinder for the clutch needed to be replaced $800. not too terribly bad
