Default compression ratio

hey im kinda new at engines but im about to get the f20b and i wanted to know how would i decompress it so that i could turbo it?

thats probably the worst engine to turbo. turbo something else, something cheaper with already low compression. like the f23, h23, or f22 series motors. they also all have cast iron sleeves, which is what you need for high boost.

thanks for that but i wanna be different so if you could know the answer to the original question id appreciate it. i aint going to be running really much boost probably just like 6-8 psi max

alright fine. the f20b already has iron sleeves so youre good there. i dont know of any kits off the top of my head but some low compression pistons and maybe a thicker headgasket would do the trick.

Find some F22 85mm borepistons. If you're not gonna be running much boost then there's really no point in replacing the pistons or turbocharging the motor in the first place.

well say that i get the f22 pistons how much boost do you think i could run on it? or should i just say **** it and go NA?

F20B was meant for racing N/A...it should stay that way.
