Default MISUNDERSTANDING

i completely misunderstood everything that i was reading and thought that the CD6 Accord SiRhad the F20B in it. after taking another look i realized that was the CF4 Accord SiR. after realizing that i believe i am going to go for what the CD6 Accord SiR actually had in it and go with the H22A. anybody know if it was the 92-96 H22a or was it the 97-01 H22a please let me know so i can get my 97 Accord SiR conversion underway thanks

Pretty much meant for N/A...

You can turbocharge anything. You just have to make sure the engine is meant/built for it.

The CD6 accords used the 96-00 H22a1, because it uses the OBD2 system instead of the 92-95 OBD1 engines. The engine are great for turbo, I'm in the midst of building my very own. You just have to get some books on building and moding honda engines, most have hundreds of dyno test of almost every configuration, so you can find what would be best for what you want to do.

they used the H22A motor not A1. the A1 would mean it is a USDM motor out of a 4th gen Prelude. the 5th gen Preludes 97-01 used the H22A4. the only JDM H22 to have a number after it was the H22A7 found in the Japanese Accord Type R.
