Greetings,

New member here. I'm in the process of totally redoing my 1988 Honda Accord LX-i from scratch. It's the first car I've ever owned since high school. About 6 months ago, my car started producing excessive blow-by, and I was told that I would have to rebuild it.

Now, I just got the radiator out last week, and am going to replace it once the motor teardown and rebuild is complete. However, when I called my local dealership, they said that there are two types of radiators, a Toyo or a Denso.

I still have the one I took out, but I believe it's aftermarket. Is there anyway to know which original radiator I need for my Honda?

Go aftermarket and you don't have to worry. If my failing memory serves me, the difference is really in how one of the cooling fans mounts to the rad.
