92 honda accord I was told by the person I bought it from its not the original motor.

Should be an f22A1 if it's a DX or LX maybe someone else will chime in if they see different

On the engine block, close to where it bolts to the transmission bellhousing, there should be a flat place with stuff stamped in it.

First line is the engine type, something like F22A1 or whatever.
Second line is engine serial # and I think the 1st digit indicates the model-year (somewhat coded).

I think he said that the original engine has been replaced.

Noob_Mechanic, are you asking what engine you have now? Or what engine is supposed to be in a 1992 EX?
