Noob_Mechanic, are you asking what engine you have now? Or what engine is supposed to be in a 1992 EX?
I knew he said it was replaced that's why I said should be. For him to actually know he would definitely have to find the stamp. A lot of people swap the engines out with the opposite model because they just don't know. The only difference in the 2 is the header design (giving you 5HP more) and the slightly bigger exhaust pipe all on the A4. You still use the same ECU.

Well, I guess it is definitive, you have an F22A6.

And the first digit of the serial # is 2 which I think means the 2nd model-year that the F22A6 was used.
