Was it something you were planning on doing yourself or having a shop do?

Its really not that hard to do the wiring, just mark the sensors as you take them off the f22, line them up to the f20b and see what has to be changed.

A few other things to consider is an F20b that came out of a manual car is rated at 200hp while an f20b that came out of an automatic car is rated at 185hp. There is only 1 retailer I know that specifies if it is an automatic or manual version, and that is hmotorsonline. Any other retailer and you are kind of taking a gamble.

Also just consider getting an H22, you can find them locally, or even get them from a junkyard that normally come with 90 or 100 day warranties.

im gonna be real.. it seems you need to do A LOT of research. if you don't know if the H22 out of the Honda Prelude is VTEC or not means you have not done a lot of research into these engines or cars.

to answer your question, yes it does have vtec.

it will be a easier swap and has tons of aftermarket support. it has been done so many times that they make direct swap in engine mounts and kits to make it a easy swap.

like i said research these engines and cars.

in any tuner magazine there is a h22 swapped accord.

H22s came in all 97-01 ludes and some 93-96 ludes.

F20b only came in 97-01 Accord Torneos

A f20b is a H22 with a little less bore and stroke. Manifolds and cams and small things like that are interchangeable between the two. But pistons and head gaskets for example arent.

live2rice has more experience, but i believe it is a direct bolt up. i would go with a h22 header, they flow better, but you can use your f22 header.

Negative, h22 won't bolt up either. F20b and H22 exhaust are the same. I believe they are slightly to the right of where the stock exhaust is. Easiest way is to just get rid of the cat and take measurements and bring them to a shop and have them custom make you one.

I personally got rid of the cat, and measured from the end of the header to the start of the exhaust pipe.
