ecu fix up

Default ecu fix up

wassup guys, i just got me a 99 accord ex v6 from a buddy of mine. i heard is from someone that said i can beef up my pony from reprograming my ecu. is that true? if yes, where can get it done at and how much it will cost me.

My 03 Accord V6 is out this week getting a performace chip. I was told to expect 15 more hp when done. I should have her bck on thursday, so I post more particulars then.

Hi Guys...what you need too look into is called programable management system.
These systems work in conjunction with your stock or upgraded ECU's.

Look into them and you'll be amazed with what they can do for your engine.

About $400.00.It's only the chip, no other mods are being done to the ecu. Combined with the cold air intake, cat back and bored throttle body I hope to be making close to 280 hp.

Evil,

Where are you getting this done? I talked with JET about 7th generation modifications and they said the computer must be removed and sent to them.

I was turned on to a local "electronics" store here in central Jersey. They did pull the entire ecu and overnited it to California.Been without the car for 3 days now, I should have the car back on Thursday and I'll post the full particuars about it then. The " elecronics" store turned out to be a tuning shop that does both sound systems and import speed upgrades.

how long i can go on my car before i have to get the timing belt change? maintance said at 120k u need to change it.

$400 is cheap if the 15 HP figure is realistic.
