Euro-R h22a swap: ecu questions..
Hello, I am swapping an euro-r h22a into my 94 accord lx and I am trying to figure out my ecu options. I have an ecu from a 93(?) prelude with an vtec h22 in it but i was told that will not work and other than that I have the ecu that came in the accord. I was told my only option is to find a p72 or a p28 have it chipped and tuned but cant i find a stock ecu and run it, stock? the engine is stock with an intake and header. any help would be great.
Thanks in advance!!
Thanks in advance!!

the euro r is obd2. You will want to get a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness a chipped p72 ecu with h22 base map and have it tuned (preferably on a dyno if you want to get all your power out of it)

yes the p72 ecu is what you need...its obd1. Running a p13 I don't think will run your engine all that well. B/c of the cam's and the higher compression. So it will have a different tune (air fuel ratio).
But you will need a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness since the engine is obd2 and your chassis is obd1. There are sensors that obd2 uses that obd1 doesn’t.
So you will need...
-obd2 to obd1 conversion harness
-chipped p72 ecu
-Good tune

where would the conversion harness convert? would it attach to the engine and then the accord/prelude harness attach to that? I dont like working with electricity as it often times confuses me and gets frustrating. So please explain what conversion harness I am looking for, thanks a million in advance. and would a p28 chipped ecu work?
