my bad ..... I was thinking K

F series = cast iron sleeves ..... can be bored
H series = FRM sleeves ...... can't be bored

cast iron takes boost better. H cylinder head flows air better for NA ....... best is an F series with an H22A head.

I'm not the person to help you with the frankenstein engine build..... I'm not sure if the F's and H's have different models for pairing parts since I haven't really read up on it. As far as I know, the F's and H's all fit each other, but I'm likely wrong on that assumption. Are you looking to rebuild the lower half or is your compression good as is?

well if you plan to do the whole engine, I think that an F series block is a better start than the H series due to the sleeves ..... if you're going to resleeve the engine, then it really doesn't matter, but if you want to bore the cylinder a bit to tighten up the compression, then F series FTW.

so your future plan is just to build the engine and leave it N/A, or are you gonna boost? it plays a role in the type of engine you should get. if your planning on boosting get the F, if your just looking for pure torque get the H and rebuild.

You guys really need to catch up on your engine terminology. You're using phrases and words in the wrong way.
