RE: f20b swap + tranny
We actually had a thread discussing this a couple weeks ago. The consensus seemed to be that it wasnt a really good swap for an Accord. A Civic or CRX, hell yes. But its really lacking in torque, and its seems like a peaky engine, which isnt what you want in a heavier car like an Accord. I know Hondas arent torque heavy, no matter what engine you have, but an H22 seems to be a much better swap if you are looking to get rid of the good old F22B.

RE: f20b swap + tranny
the f20b is made for an accord while the h22a is for a prelude, so why would weight and torque really be an issue?
and about how much work would it be to make the car manual with a jdm engine?

Yeah the F20B has great horsepower numbers, but horsepower only helps you on the high end. Torque is what moves you at the low end, what gets you going. If the car weighs more, you need more torque. The H22 is pretty much a straight in swap. I dont know about the F20B, but Im betting you would have to do some custom fab work. The H22 is just a better engine for the Accord. Same hp numbers, better torque, aftermarket is going to be cheaper, its an easy swap.
As for the trans, is your car currently an auto or manual?
