F22b1 head on F22b2 block???

Is it really possible, I know I would have to tap in a oil line for vtec, but would I be able to just have the car working without having vtec fully functional ?

it will be like unplugging the vtec... should work

Has anybody done it and knows if it absoluty works, I don't want to take a shot in the dark.
