I have a 2006 Honda Accord - sedan - 4 cyl - automatic transmission - LX -2.2L.

The brake fluid reservoir is low. I filled it. Drove several miles and there was another noticeable drop in the level.

I don't see nor have I seen any fluid on the floor underneath the vehicle.

What could cause this drop in fluid level? And where is the fluid going?

Thanks,
G. William

Please don't put your email in clear text - that's a SPAM magnet for the whole site. Click "User CP" near the top, look for a setting that says "receive email from others". Then anyone can email you by clicking your username in any post. But really, it's better to ask & answer in the forum so others can learn from the eventual fix.

Brake fluid can leak into the rear drum brakes for awhile before become visible. (Got rear drums?)

Brake fluid can leak past the piston rod of the master cylinder, & begin filling up the vacuum booster. That will lead to problems, but it'll leak silently for awhile. Eventually it'll rot the rubber diaphragm and the booster will start leaking vacuum.
