Definitely do your homework on this kind of a build.

I think the F23 should bolt in with no problems, but not 100% sure.

Search for a thread by g22cd5. He is a mod on here that did a G22 build. He might have some pointers for you.

I'm installing an F23A1 in place of the original F22B1 in my '97 Accord. I have yet to get it installed. I keep running into problems, the latest due to some sheared off bolts that came with the engine. I didn't discover this until after I accepted the engine, resealed it, installed the transmission and was about to put it back in. However, the folks at the shop assure me that all the externals will fit (they have so far) and it will bolt right in. They said they've sold about 150 motors for this kind of swap. I got the busted bolts EDM'ed out today and should have the motor installed this weekend.

Roader replaced an F22 with an F23 so that should give additional assurance that the F23 will bolt in. Here's the link: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...gen-5-a-47757/

your better off doing a h22 swap. Your g23 swap will cost just as much. Won't be as reliable and the h22 swap will be 100% less headache. It's not just as easy as swapping a head and pistons.
