h22 for $450?

if you're willing to rebuild it then yes a blown motor (as long as the block is still good) is worth about $450. especially with headers and a decent intake/ecu (make sure the ecu was functioning)

I can't quite tell but is the oil pan pulled off that? Indicating a bad crank or journal bearing and such, low end issues...

i've been trying to contact this guy all morning.
this guy my brother works with is a really good mechanic that i'll have my brother to get to check it out if i can get this guy to answer.

is the motor in your area so you can physically see it? If so then I'd be trying to get ahold of him too.

I wouldnt pay $450 for a blown motor, because if you cant rebuild it yourself, it will cost you alot more to rebuild it then to just buy a working one............even if you can rebuild it yourself the parts would be close to the cost of a new one...............

the only plus of a rebuilding one is that you know everything was done right and it has 0 miles on it.

that h22 was sold but i found another h22a for 300 i'll post some pics of it and let you guys tell me what you think.
