Default H22 engine difficulty

Okay so i have a CD7 accord with an H22 swap. Im driving to work this morning and i take my car out of gear and notice the rpm dropping outrageously low (100 to 200 rpm). It then proceeds to hit 0 and all power goes out. I can start the car with no troubles but unless i stay in gear the car turns off. On a cold start up during lunch the car idles irrationally and is burning rich (smoke out of the exhaust). The only thing i can see that is out of place is the connector to the fuse box is burnt at the top where the three wires enter the plactic connector. I could really use some help!
Thanks
