I recently checked my craigslist for a h22, and i found two separate people one selling the h22 block with pistons and crank shaft, and the other selling the head w/o injectors intake manifold or anything for 100. I'm seriously considering buying, but should I?
also since the alternator and distributor etc.. dont come with it, can i transfer anything from my f22 onto the h22?

 

depends on if the parts are in working cond. Block for 100bux? I would defiantly check to make sure it's in working order. I sold my hydro locked h22a block for $200...bare with no crank rods or pistons.
Check the cyl walls for any scars or deep scratches. If they have any you will need to re sleeve the block. That’s really expensive like $800-1000 for sleeves then another few hundred for boring out the old cyls and pressing in the new sleeves

 

if its kinda iffy? i guess i can just take a look see if it'd be worth the time, i have a little extra cash since im saving up for the h23
