Default hondata or something similar

ive got a 91 accord and i was wondering if how much it would boost horse power and/or torque if i got a hondata computer. the body isnt worth an engine swap and i would just like to add as much power as i could without spending too much money. anything else that would be a good mod for small hp increases, feel free to let me know. ive got full exhaust and an aem short ram intake already

Useless on an otherwise stock motor.

Its odd, no one wants to spend money on getting HP. I wish there was some cheap way to get HP, unfortunatly there isnt.

i would have no problem spending money on a car that was in good shape...this one just isnt in the best of shape and isnt worth an engine rebuild or anything else major.....and wouldnt a new ecu increase fuel and air mixture? that would seem to me to make a pretty significant difference

Like I said, worthless on an otherwise stock motor.

translation: Put more work into your engine before the ecu upgrade and it will be worth it. If its a stock motor chaning the A/F mixture wont do anything because theres no change to the setup of the motor. Do some engine mods and it might, key word being *might*, be worth it.

if you want your car to be fast without spending money, then weight reduction is the way to go.
ive seen cb7's (90-93) accords weigh in at around 2100 lbs!
