im pretty new to cars, i ususally drive big muddin trucks or suvs, but this is my first car, so i was wondering the v6 really hauls @$$, at least i think, is this actually a quick car when compared to lets say a civivc, both si and non si? jw

 

what year?

95-97 V6 is about 9 second to 60
98-02 V6 is about 7.3 to 8 seconds to 60
03-07 V6 is about 5.8 to 6.5 to 60 hybrid is about 5.5
08- current are about 5.7 to 6.5

 

99 and i counted to about 6 seconds i filemd it, the time elsape was like 6.283

98-02 stock is about 8.0-8.5 seconds.

I highly doubt that your 99 got there in 6 seconds without nitrous.

 

was it 0-60? cause it seem very fast 6.2 secs... was it from the hole?

 

its an auto but i drove it like an auto stick not letting it shift till it almost redlined, one sec

My best was 7.0 seconds timed on a GT2 G-Timer. Launch from a power brake at 2000 rpms and hitting 7k on each gear. Video of a timed 0-60 that I pulled in 7.4 seconds with a rev tap on the 1-2 shift.

This was a 2000 sedan V6
