It depends on how long you sit at stall. A 2 second stall launch isn't going to heat up that much, but the harder launch can kill engine and tranny mounts. Luckily I don't have to worry about this since I have a manual with poly mounts and my ETD custom installed. I get absolutely zero wheel hop! Hard launching FTW!!!

arent the jseries headers welded to the block...or is that just for 7th gen v6 accords?

the 03+ accords V6's and the 04+acura V6's all have the exuast collectors cast as part of the head assembly......that in turn bolts to a precat.

I'm getting a best of 7.3s 0-60mph in my 2000 accord v6 2dr. Thats power-launching it at about 2k rpm. Only mods are a Magnaflow cat-back and Fujita short ram intake. Was getting 7.9s 0-60mph stock.

lol just keep telling yourself that.............why in the world would you even think about doing something like that to a transmission that already has major weaknesses to begin with.............

well... i got a 00 v6 2 door.. with an e-bay intake and the best i have pulled off is a 8.9 - 9.1 auto trans and everything else is stock

ok i shifted as soon as i hear the rev limit to 2, but i dont puhsh it strigh to 100% throatle, im more at like 68%-75% then i sloly bring it 2 100%, if i got stright to 100% i actually go alot slower

I read somewhere that the HAH was the quickest ever at about 6.5 to 60. That's about what mine feels like. My XT forester stage 3 suto gets there in about 5.3-5.5ish.
