maybe look into a k24a2 from the Acura tsx (ONLY) its the 200hp( has the higher compression pistons) k24 since you are having to swap engines why not upgrade. www. hmotorsonline . com

would i need the whole change over parts or can i just get the motor its self and have it work with what i got now? never done an engine swap before so this will be the first, and money is kinda tight at the moment...

Im not sure when it comes to K series engine...I dont know much about them Im still stuck in the f and h series era. Ummm I know live2rice knows stuff about k series he was building one at one point. But Im not sure how much he can tell ya. Try talking to him... live2rice

quick update

i found a k24a4 for 725 rebuilt with 65k on it. im looking for a shop to install it and if gotten these quotes,

the jap shop: 900
Ultimate Performance: 500
Honda dealership: 1106
Halendale: 800
car-teck tunning: 700-900

just wanted to know what you guys think sounds like the reasonable price and not getting riped off.
