Unfortunately...thats not really going to be probable.

cheap Catback Exhaust $220 6ish hp

You can always strip the interior, which reduces weight, which would make acceleration faster.

The only way I can see getting 20hp quickly is through Nitrous.

I have a 7th gen....so prices could be a little cheaper for you. Plus, I only trust name brands when messing around with the engine.

 

Remove your spare tire, jack, trunk carpet, rear speakers, rear seat, passenger seat and advance the timing by a few degrees, that MIGHT feel like you have an extra 20 HP for free...

 

You really need to come back to reality. I want to find the end of the rainbow but it just ain't gonna happen.

First off define cheap in your estimation.
Second define easy in your estimation.
Get serious about this and perhaps we can help you find 12-15 HP if that.

and all i gots is an intake so far
and i just dont wanna have to rip apart the motor unless its sumtin simple
give me a name on a half decent header and nice import sounding exhaust
are obx headers aight or what and i want that apexi exhaust but i only got 400 to spend on exhaust and header

you can get an AEM kit for about 200 bucks, and it comes with the correct timing belt too
unorthodox racing is also good

so I/H/E + pulley kit + platinum sparkplugs + lighten up your car

 

i agree w/ thunder x... Besides, on ebay u can find great catbacks (3in)for $200 shipped. That's how i found mine and i live in puerto rico..
