Default I want Engine Swap

Hey guys. i have a 94 accord ex. 2.2 vtec. It is the F22B1. i give my engine another 4 to 6 months before it gives up on me. I want more power. i was considering an engine swap to an H22. I am on a budget so money spending must be done wisely. What do you guys think? Any comments.. suggestions? I will get the H22 from a wrecking yard and rebuild it myself.

All i will need will be the ECU other than that... maybe some wireings. Please correct me if i am wrong. I might be boosting the engine up too. still need to choose the engine first.

if your on a budget boosting a h22 is out of the question.

How much to you wanna send on a swap? How much power do you want?
Also are you 5speed or auto?
Look around cb7tuner.com and google The h22 swap has been done 6546513 times. Need to search a bit.

if your going to put a h22 swap in your car just keep it all motor. unless you have alot of money to build the engine and the management system. and if you do buy a turbo kit stay off ebay those kits are crap. i had a h23 blue top in my old car with a ebay turbo kit(no name) with 8psi and it was way diffrent than my greddy kit. just do some looking around. If i were you i would build that motor with higher compression and knife edge the crank and throw some nice cams in it also replace the valves and springs. you will get around 250 whp if you build it right.

need allot more done than that to get 250hp out of a h22.

You can use ebay turbo kits they are fine...the key is it take them apart and check all the parts. Then re-install...and also have to make sure you have the right amount of oil press. to the turbo. I have few friends running ebay turbo kits for over 2years now. You just have to take it apart and make sure everything is all right then put back 2geather. Most ppl just get the turbo and slap it on the car..that’s why they blow up. Just got to make sure you check the chinese ppls work

well it's coming along. BUT I donno what I'm gonna do now. I was going to boost the g22. but I might bore the f22 block out and run h22 internals. Or if I can find a f23 block I’m gonna go n/a and spray the crap out of it. I really want to turbo but I donno anymore. lol
Yes I know a really turbo brand will be better…hands down. But with the right specs you can make some really good power on a ebay kit.
