Is it possible to swap in a j series engine into a 7th gen 4 cylinder? I'm thinking probably not...but what a sleeper that car could be...

 

its possible but the money you'll end up spending will most likely be just as much as just selling your car and combining the earns with the money of the swap and buying a V6 accord. trust me i was trying that same stunt with my 6th gen, and after alot of research found that it wouldn't be worth it,it'd be better to sell my accord and just buy a V6 which is usually only 500-1000 more but with the price of gas going up day by day, i'm loving my 4-banger!

 

How is that a sleeper? Its the same body/chassis that the v6 accords have, all you would've done is swapped in a different motor.

 

I dunno, I only have one tailpipe to the 6's two?

yeah, i know. its just im so used to seeing 4 banger LX models...that a LX w/ a v6 would be kinda cool.

is that ok for the engine to funnel it all into one when it came stock w/ 2?

 

there is an LX-V6. 2 pipes to 1 is fine.

I'm trying to purchase a JDM engine from Dominican Republic, a b16 and an H22... they are for a friend of a friend... don't know what's he doing w/ them since he doesn't own a honda... but i'll guess if i can do the purchase w/ out any inconvinience, then i'll try to get myself an H22

 

are you seriously considering swapping out a K24?...............your doing it all wrong. the k24 has so much potential. they can make 500+hp easy.

just throw a turbo on there
